Family-owned since 1974
The diner Paramus knows by name
Half a century on East Ridgewood Avenue, and still cooking every day.

Tom Sawyer Diner opened in 1974, and it’s been family-owned ever since. That kind of run doesn’t happen by accident. It happens one plate at a time, one regular at a time, one morning rush at a time.
The menu is what a great New Jersey diner should be: breakfast served all day, burgers and overstuffed sandwiches, homestyle entrées, and Greek and Italian specialties cooked in our own kitchen, along with homemade soups and desserts.
You’ll find us at 98 E Ridgewood Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, seven days a week. Come for eggs at 7 AM, a milkshake after school, or dinner with the whole table. However you land here, you’re a neighbor.
